Many women choose abortion because they are pressured to do so by family members, their partner, or friends. Lacking support and resources, they feel abortion is their only option in a moment of crisis and panic.
After their abortion, they initially feel relief because the crisis has been averted. But they soon start to feel other lingering emotions – regret, guilt, anger, sorrow, and despair. Many struggle with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts and aren’t sure why.
Word of Hope exists to help women find healing after their abortions. Jesus offers forgiveness and grace for all sin for those who come to Him, and part of our ministry is to help women receive those gifts from Jesus.
