Redeeming Grace is a confidential, Christ-centered retreat designed to bring healing and hope to women who have experienced abortion. Offered through a partnership between Lutheran Family Service and Word of Hope (a ministry of Lutherans for Life), this first-of-its-kind retreat provides a sanctuary for the soul—a sacred space to rest, reflect, and receive Christ’s redeeming love.

Confidential, Small-Group Setting
You’ll be surrounded by a small, supportive group of women who understand—guided by trained Christian professionals including licensed mental health therapists, church workers, and other compassionate professionals.
Faith-Based Healing
We don’t believe healing comes from works or performance—but from the gift of Christ’s grace. This retreat is focused on spiritual care and emotional restoration—not clinical therapy—so that you may find the peace, forgiveness, and freedom that only Jesus can provide.
A Holistic Experience
Your time at the retreat includes a thoughtful mix of spiritual reflection, small-group fellowship, quiet time in nature, creative expression, mindfulness activities, and even time with horses—each moment designed to draw you gently toward hope while celebrating your identity as a cherished and forgiven child of God.
You’ll Receive
Thanks to our generous donors, the only cost to attend is a $75 registration fee which covers all materials. Travel assistance is available, making the full retreat—valued at over $2,500—accessible to all. We never want cost to be a barrier to healing.
